MEASURES TO REDUCE WATER WASTAGE IN SCHOOLS
- Identify where water is being wasted and can be saved. (based on the chart above)
- Fix any leaks.
- Start “Save Water Campaign".
- Celebrate World Water Day with beneficial activities.
- Invite officers from respective sectors to give information about ways to save water.
- Organise a competition where students save water at home and winners are those who have the most reduction in their house water bills.
There are many things that we as students can do to help save water...most of the time we never think about the role of water in our life ..not until there is a water cut...even worse when the cut is for several days....so try to save water OK!
