HOW I CAN SAVE WATER
Saving water starts with me.....At Home
- Take shorter showers.
- Turn off the shower while lathering soap
- Turn off the tap when brushing my teeth or washing my face.
- Water plants with water that has been used to wash vegetables.
- Wash my family's car with water in pails and not from a hose connected to a tap.
- Use the washing machine with a full load.
- Remind my father to repair dripping faucets.
- Water the lawn early in the morning or late evening.
- Use a broom to clean driveway, not flushing the rubbish with water.
- Use a watering can to water plants.
- Fill the sink to wash dishes.
